AMELIA : Of tiffany and pink + shimmery gold

4th of May 2014 - Sundays are made up of happy dates.

About 2 weeks ago, my sister turned 21! For the past few weeks, I've never been so tied up before that I barely even had time for myself. Literally. Repeating the cycle of shooting/editing/meeting up with datelines for the newly launched Marketplace on Zalora/appointments/assignments/exams and what not. Juggling with an online shop and college work.. I knew it wasn't going to be easy but I still managed to pull through. I was so busy to the point where I just wanted to lay flat on my bed and do nothing but time wasn't on my side. Plus, I've sister's birthday prep to handle. BUT I was more than willing to do so.

It isn't anything to wow upon, I just wanted to do something I love for someone I cherish so dearly. I did everything from scratch for her birthday display table & of course heartiest thanks to mummy for scouting some items for me. It was supposed to be a baby pink+gold theme but in the end we settled for pink, tiffany & a little of shimmer gold.

I take pride with the fact that she's my sister; my pillar of strength. She resembles a mirror, where she is constantly there to remind me that what I perceive about myself is merely just a reflection because what matters is the inner and not the outward. Whenever my ungrateful self overpowers me, she'll be there to give me a silent slap not to only look at my flaws but instead to take pride of the little strength planted upon me. No one else that I know of has that big heart for little kids other than she does, I hope and believe she'll bloom into the best doctor! I truly thank God for blessing me with her, someone I will treasure for lifelong. Much love.

I love how these tiny macaroons has the ability to appear so flawlessly photogenic on camera. I requested for the lightest shade of pastel but this was the best they can make. Anyhow, they still turned out perfect, giving a fine touch to the whole table display.
